Welcome back boys! Everyone came back happy and eager to work. It was neat so see how everyone had grown over the summer. I am really looking forward to our class taking on the new job of looking after the gardens in front of the school this year. It is exciting to watch the daily construction going on in the back yard each day. Luckily, our windows give us a great view of all the heavy machinery working. I’m sure it will be a great term for all of us.

I am so happy to see all of my students back again for another super school year. In Language Arts, we have been doing a unit on Robert Munsch. Our recount stories for “Millicent’s Wind” were awesome! In math, we are reviewing place value and simple addition and subtraction facts. We have just been learning to round numbers by 10’s and 100’s. We are studying “Soil and Plants” in Science. We have cooked hotdogs once and made lasagna. All of the students have been working hard and putting forth a great effort so far. Keep up the good work!
